Are you a hero?
This term our inquiry topic is Heroes. Last week we came up with what we thought were the qualities of a hero and we also wrote a list of criteria to help us decide if someone is a hero or not. We worked in groups to decide weather some famous people were heroes or not. Here is the finished slideshow. We will post our criteria soon so you can decide if you are a hero.

ReplyDeleteHi Room 7 and Miss Kirsty. I really like your topic this term. One of my heroes is my mum. Not only because she is a great mum, but also because she was one of the first female butchers in NZ. She used to work in the freezing works and for many years the role of the butcher was seen as a job that only men could do. There were a few women who made a stand and had to put up with a lot of bullying to prove that they could do the job.
